The Bayfield Inn

The rooms are updated and modern with great overlooks of the lake. Literally, just one block from the water - you can get no closer. The restaurant is great, too. The inside restaurant has big windows allowing one to watch the waves while eating breakfast - try the stuffed French toast, it's to die for. The patio is amazing for a libation or two in the evening. Great place, great food in an awesome little town by the lake.

This review is regarding the restaurant. Our favorite restaurant in Bayfield! You can't beat the stunning view and the service is always friendly and attentive.

Due to a wedding that booked most of the main building we were in the Isaac Wing. We got a very nice room with a view of the lake that, on our first night, featured a night of distant lighting followed by an early morning thunderstorm (4am) - very cool! Staff were great, quick check-in. Good weather here while heat advisory inland.

I stopped in to grab dinner. I was early and had no problem getting a table. The server was quick to come over and get my drink order. I had the blackened whitefish with mixed vegetables and garlic potatoes. It was really delicious! The meal comes with a side salad that was fresh and very tasty with cranberries and nuts on top. The hot roll was very yummy. The brand old fashioned was super good. Server was very kind and engaged in some small talk with me. I loved the food and the ambiance. I want to return when their rooftop patio is open. I bet it is fabulous sitting there watching the sunset. Cute location. Highly recommend.

The Bayfield Inn is a stylish spot for breakfast, perfectly located in the heart of the city with stunning views of the lake and pier right from the dining area. While the space isn't overwhelmingly large, it feels open and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of seating and ample window views for everyone to enjoy a peaceful, scenic morning. The ambiance strikes a balance between chic and cozy, making it an ideal place to start the day. The breakfast menu suited my taste perfectly—well-curated, with a good mix of classics and unique options. My meal was prepared quickly, and the staff were efficient, friendly, and genuinely enthusiastic. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit. It not only made my breakfast decision for tomorrow an easy one, but it also gave me the chance to try something new. Highly recommended!

Great food and drinks, always a great option when in town. Plus the view from the dining room or rooftop are BEAUTIFUL!

I can't say anything about the rooms but the food is amazing. It's all home made from scratch. All unique, very fresh. I can't believe I been going to pier plaza for 10 years and just tried this place. This is my new favorite place to go in Bayfield.

I didn't stay here just ate their restaurant with the view. I left my sling and didn't notice it until I got home 4 days later in a different state. I wasnt sure where I had lost it and was calling all the establishments I had been to check if they had my sling. The lady at Bayfiled Inn confirmed they had it and would ship it to me. And boy did they ship it with everything still inside my purse! Hats off to them for their prompt shipment. Thank you very much !
